When you have a sibling with Down Syndrome, you don't take marriage lightly. You're significant other needs to understand that although you are marrying them, you're a package deal. From day one, I made it clear to Tatiana that Brittany and I were a package deal and that I had TWO best friends.

This can be a profound thing for a significant other to understand and accept—not everyone can do it. It takes a special someone. Luckily for me, I found this person. It didn't take any convincing, Tatiana loves my sister with every fiber of her being and wouldn't have it any other way.
